Picked up a Panda !

£1160 bid with £1472 all in with £75 to deliver.
Category S recorded because of sill damage – surely ?
Malcolm must have scraped the Panda against a bollard – he’d maintained it well though.

A cheeky Saturday morning bid whilst on a cycle ride rest secured this Category S recorded 2016 Fiat Panda with a dented and scraped driver’s side and sill.

On delivery, the service book was discovered stamped by the same garage – since 2016 ! I called them and a worker said that the Panda must have been Malcolm’s. Yearly oil and air filter changes had been done but no cambelt change. A call to Fiat confirmed that this should be done at either seven years or seventy thousand miles. It had passed every MOT first time with the present one valid to June 2024 – with no advisories.

Turpentine was used to rid yellow paint that I suspect had come from a rogue bollard and some dents were popped out using a screwdriver – or my hand. The burning question is: should I replace both doors as the Panda will be priced at least £1000 below a non-recorded equivalent or should it be left as is to justify the price difference.

It now needs a polish – and that is it !
