Our stolen recovered 2015 Fiat Panda needs a set of new boots so Halfords, who own National Tyres arrived at our house to fit them but one wheel was discovered to be bent so said boots were not fitted.
Alas, a search to fit a replacement wheel was sought on ebay advertised at £65 with an offer of £55 eventually accepted. Said wheel and tyre in advertisements had been fitted to a similar Panda and tyre had “plenty of tread”. In time, an early Christmas present arrived of ordered wheel/tyre but was it that one in the advertisement ?
Absolutely – not. I received a wheel that looked like it came off a Panda but with a tyre worn down to the spacers with objects embedded in the tread. At least Sherburn Motor Spares of Leeds included a Panda wheeltrim as a consolation ! What a waste of time and energy including delivery and return to them. A refund did return to me with no apology but thanks for that wheeltrim – which I kept!
